36 And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction. 37 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, 38 “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” - Matthew 9:36-38

In Matthew 9:38, Jesus calls His followers to pray earnestly for God to move, to act, to do what only He can do.

Our harvest is the medical center community. Many people are hurting and in need of God’s grace. Let us seek to have the same compassion Jesus modeled in Matthew 9:38.

To grow in our personal prayer lives, foster intimate community, and delight in the glory of God’s faithfulness through our prayer…

Rather than having a gathering each week, we will meet as for corporate prayer and worship once a month (first Sunday of the month starting 2/5/12)

Each member is encouraged to have a prayer partner that they can meet with once a week, in person, over the phone, via Skype- whatever works, and pray for the initiatives of the church and one another. Nikki Rodden will send out the prayer requests each week via email.

Please sign up and email Nikki directly at nikkirodden@gmail.com to let us know where to send the prayer requests.

There will also be an avenue for prayer requests to be sent to and prayed for by our partners, most likely a Google text/voice line. Members are also encouraged to utilize Connection Cards for prayer requests. Simply fill it out and place it in the offering box on Sundays.

Through this prayer time it is our heartfelt desire that God would transform and grow the lives of His people, and that He would use the Church in the Center to help accomplish His work in the medical center community.

**The 938 Prayer room (Conference Room IV) will continue to be open for you to have personal prayer time on Sundays before worship. **
